Southlake Crossing Animal Clinic was established in June of 1991 and began with one employee and one veterinarian- Dr. Mark Cox. The clinic was located in a lease facility at the corner of Davis and Southlake Blvd. In 1998, a tract of land was purchased just west of the original location and in July of 1999 we moved into our new, modern facility and became a multi-doctor and multiple staff practice. In this building we excelled and continued to grow until we were bursting at the seams. So, in 2009, we were able to purchase the Emergency Animal Hospital located right next door. We remodeled and moved in. Today we use our east building for our Grooming clients as well as Lease to the Dallas Veterinary Dentistry and Oral Surgery Specialists, and our west (new) building is the heart and soul of our practice, offering all medical services, surgery and boarding.
Southlake Crossing Animal Clinic has earned the reputation of being a quality veterinary facility with quality staff providing excellent veterinary care and service. Our committement to quality has earned us "Best Veterinary Clinic in Tarrant County" awards and we have earned an American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) accreditation offered to only a few animal hospitals in the United States. And more recently, we were awarded "Best of the Best" Southlake Vet in 2011 and 2013.
This reputation is one of the most valuable assets and one, which we must all strive to enhance and preserve. It is the goal of this practice to continue providing quality veterinary care and service and continue the growth of our client base, staff, and facilities.
